English independent film maker and gay rights activist, Derek Jarman, kept scrapbooks along side the ideas and production of his movies, such as Caravagio (1986), and Edward II (1991).
He made the books himself, or transformed existing albums, to include parts of scripts, notes, dried plants, drawings, news clippings, poetry, photos, etc.
