Parallel Narratives – Through the Sketchbook

Found books, in this case the text of Down North on The Labrador, provides a male narrative that the artist engages. It contrasts a female story titled, Dorothy and Marion. The feminine voice and imagery of a woman who lives one hundred years after the book is printed. 2004.

The artist uses collage and mixed media on pages printed and hand made paper made by the artist.
